The 2007 ThanksUSA Gala

The Second Annual ThanksUSA Gala was held on October 3, 2007, at the Andrew Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.  The event celebrated the awarding of scholarships to spouses and children of those serving in our nation’s armed services.  The Gala was well attended by Members of Congress, the Administration, corporate and community leaders, military personnel and scholarship recipients.  David Gregory, Chief White House Correspondent, NBC News, served as emcee of the event; remarks were made by Natalie Morales, also of NBC News, and Major General Eric B. Schoomaker, M.D. served as the keynote speaker.
