TH8.1 Holidays: Every day is a reason to celebrate! As Americans, we have the freedom to celebrate a variety of holidays. Some are humble, paying homage to our forefathers or honoring our religious beliefs, while others involve props, pageantry, and even a cooperative woodchuck.

TH8.2 Presidents: From George Washington to George W. Bush and beyond, we’re going to research our Commanders in Chief to learn more about the men who have steered the course of American history.

TH8.3 Children’s Authors: Discovering the writers who teach, inspire, and provoke the imaginations of our youngest readers. Haven’t read a children’s book in a while? Maybe you’ll find a new favorite here!

Th8.4 Basketball: The game that was originally played in a YMCA using peach baskets now boasts hundreds of millions of fans and players worldwide. Members of the ThanksUSA team are big fans…in fact, our favorite player can be found on our website!

TH8.5 College: Take a tour of campuses across America while learning about ThanksUSA’s scholarship program and the military family members who have benefitted from your support.

TH8.6 American Conflicts: Our final installment of Treasure Hunt Eight will honor our men and women in uniform by reflecting on some of our most difficult times as a nation.
