Kaplan University / ThanksUSA Scholarships

Kaplan University is proud to offer one full undergraduate scholarship through ThanksUSA for an eligible military spouse of active-duty servicemember, including reserve and National Guard. In addition, Educational Support Scholarships, which provide for reduced tuition of up to 55 percent, are also available for 50 eligible military spouses of active-duty servicemembers, including reserve and National Guard.

Kaplan University / ThanksUSA Scholarship

In honor of the commitment and sacrifice made by our military families the Kaplan University / ThanksUSA Scholarship will cover the full cost of an online degree program at Kaplan University for an award recipient pursuing a first-time associate’s or bachelor’s degree (excluding nursing programs and available only to new students). The scholarship is designed to aid a recipient who is currently the spouse of an active-duty servicemember including those serving in the reserve or guard of the U.S. Armed Forces.

Kaplan University / ThanksUSA Educational Support Scholarships

To support the educational goals and in tribute to our military families, the Kaplan University / ThanksUSA Educational Support Scholarships will provide recipients a fixed tuition rate of $150.00 per quarter credit hour for eligible military spouses of active-duty servicemembers, including reserve and National Guard, toward an online associate’s or bachelor’s degree program at Kaplan University, excluding nursing programs. This represents a 55 percent tuition reduction based on the current tuition rates at Kaplan University for military spouses.

All scholarships will be granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, age, gender, disability, or national origin.

PLEASE NOTE - To apply you must complete the ThanksUSA online application and identify Kaplan University as your school of choice. If an applicant selects Kaplan University as their school of choice, but does not receive a Kaplan University scholarship, or declines the Kaplan University scholarship, they will still be considered for a $3,000 scholarship from ThanksUSA.
