Heartland 4 Heroes/ThanksUSA Scholar Justin Ramos

Justin Ramos, the son of an Army National Guardsman, was awarded a $3,000
Heartland 4 Heroes/ThanksUSA
scholarship to continue an Exercise Science major at Campbellsville University. ​After completing his undergraduate degree, Justin plans to attend the University of Chattanooga Occupational Therapy School and pursue a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. 

This past summer, Justin volunteered at The Kid Spot, an occupational therapy clinic for children. Next summer he hopes to complete an occupational therapy internship and adds, "I would like to work as an Occupational Therapist in the school system and help children that need extra help to achieve their goals."

Justin plays football for the Campbellsville Tigers and is involved with several campus organizations including Campbellsville Baptist Campus Ministry, Campbellsville Sports Reach Ministry, and West Paris Baptist Church Youth Group Football.

"Thank you so very much for allowing me to receive the Heartland 4 Heroes/ThanksUSA scholarship. Many scholarships are for graduating high school seniors only, which makes it very hard during the remaining college years. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to prove myself."​

Since entering Campbellsville University, Justin has received ThanksUSA scholarships totaling $6,000.
