Jennifer Paris is a full-time student, devoted mother of three, proud Army spouse, and dedicated volunteer. She was awarded a $3,000 USA Funds/ThanksUSA scholarship for her final year of Accounting studies at Troy State University. An exceptional student, Jennifer has been inducted into the Delta Mu Delta and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies as well as the Gamma Beta Phi Honor and Service Society. |
Although being married to an active-duty soldier can present challenges to her educational pursuits, Jennifer maintains an excellent GPA and still finds time to volunteer at her local church and serve as Treasurer for her Family Readiness Group. |
After completing the BSBA Accounting program next spring, Jennifer will obtain her CPA licensure and plans to pursue a graduate degree. She is eager to work for a CPA firm and adds, "I look forward to discovering all the possibilities and opportunities my career choice will bring." "I am honored to be a recipient of the USA Funds/ThanksUSA scholarship. Because of your generosity, the financial burden placed on me to pursue my education will be reduced, allowing me to spend more time on my studies and less time worrying about finances. Thank you for your investment in students like me." |
