The Pathway to STEM benefits scholars pursuing post-secondary degrees, certifications, and ultimately careers in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. Our STEM scholars use their training and technical skills to create innovative solutions, inspiring new ideas and economic growth. ThanksUSA has partnered with global technology companies that are engaging with our scholars through mentoring, networking, and other career development opportunities.
Employment in STEM-related occupations will reach 9 million between 2012 and 2022, an increase of about 1 million jobs.
STEM employment will grow about 13% between 2012 and 2022, faster than the 11% projected for all occupations.
In 2015, 7 out of the 10 largest STEM jobs were computer related. 93% had wages above the national average.
