Featured Members of Congress ![]() Congressman Jim Baird is a lifelong resident of West Central Indiana. He proudly represents Indiana’s 4th Congressional District, which includes 16 counties, and serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. Congressman Baird is a decorated Vietnam War veteran, as his distinguished service to our country was recognized with a Bronze Star with V device and two Purple Hearts. He is married to his high school sweetheart Danise, and together they are the proud parents of three children.
![]() Elected in 2020, Congressman Scott Fitzgerald represents Wisconsin’s Fifth Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Prior to his election to Congress, Fitzgerald served in the Wisconsin State Senate representing the 13th District from 1995 to 2021. Fitzgerald joined the US Army Reserve in 1981 and was commissioned as a lieutenant in the Armor Branch in 1985. He completed the Army Command and General Staff College and served in a number of assignments during his 27 years of service, including Battalion Commander. In 2009, he retired from service at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
![]() A first-generation American citizen, Congressman Mike Garcia was a highly decorated United States Naval Officer and businessman before serving in the United States House of Representatives. His superb flying performance earned him the honor of becoming one of the first F/A-18 Super Hornet strike fighter pilots in the Navy. While on active duty, Congressman Garcia flew over 30 combat missions during Operation Iraqi Freedom in the skies above Baghdad, Fallujah, and Tikrit. Throughout his career, Congressman Garcia was lauded as one of the best leaders and most naturally-talented pilots in the U.S. Navy.

Eva Guerrette, the daughter of a retired Air Force Major, is a 2021 scholarship recipient majoring in International Affairs at The George Washington University. Through studying foreign languages, she has connected with her dad, a military linguist and intelligence officer. In her future career, she plans to use these skills to work with the military within the Department of Defense, Department of State or the Defense Intelligence Agency.
