The 2017-18 Kovner Foundation Challenge Grant garnered extraordinary support that ultimately exceeded our goal. Thanks to generous contributions from 240 donors, ThanksUSA raised $614,424.29, of which $400,000 is being matched by The Kovner Foundation.
 
How did your support help ThanksUSA and military families?
  • The Kovner Foundation will donate an additional $400,000 to ThanksUSA to help our organization grow and support our mission of providing need-based scholarships and pathways to employment for military families. This brings the grand total raised to $1,014,424!
  • With more than 2,400 scholarship applications processed this past summer, we are greatly encouraged by our growing community. Though unable to award scholarships to hundreds of deserving applicants each year, your donation was part of a major fundraising campaign that is allowing ThanksUSA to do much more.
  • While a $3,000 scholarship may not sound like a lot given what we know about tuition costs, these grants often enable our ThanksUSA scholars to forego a part-time job and focus on studying; to pay for travel expenses, books and fees; or to close the gap between affording and not affording a more expensive school.
