TREASURE HUNT 2015
Welcome to ThanksUSA's Tenth American history treasure hunt (TH10) designed to celebrate America's values and to promote scholarships for the kids and spouses of the military.
For newcomers to our effort, ThanksUSA stands for Treasure Hunt Aiding Needs of Kids and Spouses of those serving the United States of America. ThanksUSA began as the "brainblast" of two Virginia schoolgirls in 2005 as a non-partisan, charitable effort to mobilize Americans of all ages to "thank" our troops by providing need-based college, technical, and vocational school scholarships to their spouses and dependents.
Treasure Hunt Ten is free ... although we hope you will make a donation to the scholarship fund for the families of our brave men and women in uniform who protect our freedoms each and every day. Every contribution counts.
This year’s Treasure Hunt will challenge your knowledge of World War I, which started in Europe 100 years ago. Treasure Hunt Ten, or TH10, will be released in four installments through our website and an updatable mobile device application (Apple app). Each chapter will have its own theme, entry period, and prize drawing.
All player types, individuals and school/youth groups, must submit the correct final answer of the chapter, and do so during the entry period, to be eligible for prizes. Please note that we allow only one entry per chapter/per person.
The first chapter of TH10, Animals of WWI, will be released on Thanksgiving Day, November 27. Participants will have until January 15, 2015, to submit the final answer and be eligible for prizes.
Additional chapters of TH10 will be released in February, May, and July of 2015. To be eligible for that chapter’s prizes, participants must submit the correct final answer to the chapter during its entry period.
And, to be eligible for the TH10 Grand Prize drawing, participants must submit correct final entries for each of the four chapters. The final Grand Prize deadline is August 15, 2015.
Even if you join TH10 late you can still revisit the previous chapters, after the winners have been decided, submit correct final answers, and be eligible for the Grand Prize.
